Salutations! So, it appears that the Government are suggesting we may be able to reopen our doors around the last week of April, certainly we will go back to our tier system as of then. When we reopen for dining ON the premises (in tier level 2 and below), it will be every Friday and Saturday evening with limited availability. For tier 3, it will be a Friday and Saturday ‘Dinner in the daytime’ offering depending on government-imposed curfew times. Please note, we will be rebuilding our business from ‘Ground Zero’ effectively, and so we will have very few tables available for a period of time so that we can maintain our high standards of food and service with our reduced staffing. Table sizes of minimum four, maximum six adults (note that children under 12 do not count towards this total number) from a maximum of two households are to be expected. Arrival times (in tier 2) will be between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and departure is expected to be by 10pm to comply with national curfew rules (under tier 1 or 2 until we are advised otherwise). Temperature checks will be conducted on arrival and strict hygiene measures are in place to keep our staff and customers safe. You can book online for dining - click here and a deposit of £10pp is required to secure every reservation, (which is transferable or refundable in the event of a tier transition or with your 48 hours notice of cancellation for any other reason). Our Eat FROM the green takeaway service is currently operational and is planned to continue as a SET MENU takeaway offering every weekend for variable collection times (depending on our Covid tier). We can cater for full vegan, fully vegetarian, fully gluten free or fully dairy free set menus for two on request via the notes section of the order page but we regret we cannot cater for half-special diet sets.

All those who have paid a deposit, missed out on a ladies day or a have a voucher to use that has expired during closure can use these monies to order from our Eat From the Green takeaway service or Eat ON The Green dining but check your emails as we make every attempt to contact all those who are impacted with lockdowns.

The staff were really friendly and the food outstanding. It was a lovely location and setting to celebrate and the price was what you would expect for the food.
